The SeaWire Pro system combines two long-range, auto-rotating directional antennas (SeaWire RouDem) with a Below Deck Unit (BDU) that manages and distributes incoming network traffic. During operation, one antenna connects to the strongest available operator tower while the other scans for better options. When not scanning, both antennas operate simultaneously, boosting data speeds and ensuring connection redundancy.
SeaWire Pro delivers high-speed internet via the mobile network, even far offshore, using standard data SIM card/eSIM. Each antenna unit features an integrated Wi-Fi router and a built-in battery, providing several hours of operation even during power interruptions.

SeaWire Pro is a wireless broadband system that requires a 4G/5G data subscription to receive signal. Read more about our connectivity plan GlobalWire.
The package content DOES NOT include cables. The length of the cables depends on the location for installation. You need two cables; one for each antenna. Download the System Configuration to get an overview.
Cable specifications:
Network cable type: S/FTP CAT7, UV- and water resistant, double shielded, grounded
Connector 1: RJ45 (male), CAT7 FTP, grounded
Connector 2: RJ45 (male), CAT7 FTP, grounded
Length: the length of the cables depends on the location for installation (max. length 100m)
For best performance, install the antenna at the highest available point on the vessel, ensuring an unobstructed 360° view whenever possible. Position it with maximum separation from other radio communication equipment to reduce interference. The mounting bracket is designed to fit a pole with an outer diameter of Ø38 mm (1.5”).
Each RouDem will create its own WiFi hotspot. In most cases it is recommended to extend the WiFi signal coverage by connecting external WiFi equipment to the LAN port in the BDU. In that way you can easily distribute the WiFi signal to where it is needed.
SeaWire Pro is a premium plug-n-play wireless broadband solution for seafarers who is dependent on fast and stable internet connectivity. When operating, one of the antennas will connect to the best performing operator tower while the other antenna will scan for new operator towers to connect to. While not in scan-mode, both antennas connect simultaneously, doubling the data speed and offering connection redundancy. The SeaWire Pro is IP66 rated to withstand the environment at sea and is primarily designed for commercial vessels.
MiWire’s products contain a patented intelligent rotating directional antenna that points to the most optimal operator base station, controlled by our embedded software algorithm. MiWire’s auto-rotating, high-gain, directional antennas not only automatically locate the best operator base station.
Our solutions also scan and memorize the network infrastructure through an advanced, patented software algorithm to ensure maximum data speed, even when changes in the network infrastructure is made. We have developed plug-n-play solutions in which installers do not need to have knowledge of the network infrastructure in order to install. MiWire ensure high performance data speed – wherever you are.
