In an era where digital connectivity is as vital as electricity, the story of MiWire began with a single, disruptive question: If a signal is weak, why are we waiting for the network to find us? Why don’t we go find the network?
When MiWire first entered the scene, the mobile industry was focused on omnidirectional antennas that receives signals from all sides but with limited range and strength. We took a different path. We pioneered the concept of a mechanical, turnable directional antenna.
At the time, this was considered highly unorthodox in the mobile world. However, this "pivot" (literally and figuratively) allowed us to secure vital patents. By physically rotating to find the strongest possible cell tower signal, our routers could achieve 4G and 5G speeds in locations where traditional hardware simply failed.
Today, that engineering gamble has paid off. It has resulted in a world-class product that outperforms competitors by providing high-gain stability, even at the very edge of network coverage.
